About Me

Personally, I believe that the basis of a good design is connection and empathy. How connected am I to the users that I’m designing for? Am I taking enough time to speak to my users and their community to grasp what their values and needs are? I am always aware of the fact that my experience will always be different from the next person’s; I am continuously being informed by my background, the environment around me, the content I consume—and everyone else around me is just the same.

When someone interacts with something I’ve designed, I want them to feel like they are seen. I want people to know that their input is valued and that their problems are worth addressing. I place a lot of importance on getting to know my users and learning from them every single day. Being a designer is a great privilege, and I plan to use it to create solutions that genuinely improve lives, bring communities together, and encourage creativity.
